This recipe was given to me by my mom or should I say I asked her for the recipe after eating the corn cake she made for my kids with her "special oven", an oven on the stove, an oven I have not seen before. The cake was really delicious and we, my kids and I, finished the whole cake and skipped dinner!
Since I do not have corn at home, I tried with prune extract and it turned out to be quite nice. This cake is made with the bread maker and so it saved me lots of work.
