Korean Buffet

This is another place for you if you like Korean food but this time, it’s “Eat All You Can”!

We found this place via the internet. Hubby was googling for Korean buffet and it came out in the list. So, we thought we should give it a try!

Shilla Korean Buffet Restaurant - The Curve

This is where you find kimchi and all the spicy Korean food. My hands are a little shaky. I guess I was too hungry. Instead of taking the food first, I took out my mobile phone to snap pictures.

Sushi and raw seafood, just like the Japanese.

The children's paradise! My children just could not take their eyes off this place!

The price? Here it is:

Korean Barbeque

It was a day everyone felt happy. We decided to dine outside and to forget about cooking at home. So, a suggestion was popped out to dine at a restaurant that serves Korean food.

Off we went to Kepong. The shop is opposite Carrefour and is owned by a Korean.

What captured our attention was the filtering system. My husband quickly took a photo of it. According to the owner, the filters are imported all the way from Korea.

Pretty neat, eh?

Beware of hot burning charcoal.

Our food is served. There are many refillable side dishes and the one I like most is the tapioca. Can you see it? The yellow pieces in the small bowl?

Here comes our lamb, nicely barbecued!

And I thought it's self service. Not bad at all! We were taught how to eat lamb the Korean way.

  1. Take one piece of cooked lamb.

  2. Dip in sauce (I'm not sure what sauce).

  3. Place the lamb on a lettuce.

  4. Put some garlic and wrap it up.

  5. Open your mouth and chew!

After all the main dishes and side dishes, we were served Korean rice wine. Great way to end a meal, huh?

The Korean boss and his non-Korean workers who are trained in a Korean way, gave us a 90 degree bow when we were leaving and my daughter returned their bow - 90 degree too and that made everybody laughed.

So, if you wish to try some Korean food but can't wait to step into Korea, try it here!

Uncle Duck Steam Boat

Have you been to "Uncle Duck Steam Boat" in Berjaya Time Square, KL? Hubby brought us there when my parents came up to KL one day.

It's really a different experience dining in this restaurant. All of us loved the food and the atmosphere.

The Shop

The induction cooker on the table. Each person has one.

Food for steamboat - come in a set. There are many sets to choose from and the price is very reasonable.

Putting in the food. Yummy, can't wait to taste that.

The duck. Very delicious.

If you are staying in KL, try it out! If you are not staying here, you may want to give it a try when you visit Malaysia's capital - Kuala Lumpur.
